Jenny Hughes Assistant Marketing Manager
I’ve worked in the Marketing department for 20 years. We cover TV advertising, PR activity, Radio, photography, all printed POS and price ticketing whilst also being responsible for the Bensons brand. We offer support to 270 stores all over the UK. We provide the ideal point of contact for any store queries and we endeavour to help or point them in the right direction whenever we can. I enjoy working for Bensons as the varied work load keeps things interesting.
Joanne Wakefield Online Marketing Executive
I have worked in the ecommerce department for 2 years now, as a team we are responsible for managing all online marketing, sales and development of the Bensons for Beds and Harveys websites. My main responsibilities include managing the content strategy across all our social channels and email newsletters. I also get involved in our PPC, SEO and affiliate activity as well as helping the wider team with improving customer experience online.
Mark Lyons Management Accountant
I started my apprenticeship with Bensons almost a year and a half ago and am working my way through the AAT qualification alongside working on the Management Accounts team. Over time I have continued to accumulate responsibilities and complex tasks, including processing inter-company transactions and helping to monitor and reflect spend through advertising. I love both my work and my studies and look forward to continuing my progress in the future.
Lisa Broad Head of Buying
I’ve worked within the commercial team, specifically on the Buying department for just over 5 years and have been heading up the total Buying team for over a year. The buying department operates in a continuous product development circle known as the buying cycle, beginning its life from analysing sales, developing a product, supplier & promotional direction right through to the exciting launch of the physical product onto the shop floors.
Laurence Hendy Business Applications Manager
I have worked for the business for 13 years, starting in a store selling beds and progressing into a management position within the Business Applications team. We provide support to all areas of the business from store POS queries to Warehouse WMS issues, as well as working with the strategic teams implementing new systems. Every day is different and I love the way the business challenges us which makes the job very varied and interesting.
Naomi Page Senior HR Advisor
I have worked for Steinhoff UK Retail for 3 and a half years. Over my tenure I have progressed from the role of a HR Administrator to HR Advisor to my current role as a Senior HR Advisor for the Retail department. My main area of responsibility is supporting all the South area. There are lots of opportunities for career development here within the Company and I enjoy working and having an influence in the Human Resources Department here at Steinhoff.

I have worked for Steinhoff for 6 years; I currently work in Learning and Development. I specifically work alongside the Retail department supporting Retail New Starters ensuring they have a Great Start Induction into the business.
